What should you know?
This Privacy Policy explains how the Integration Europe – East Association processes the personal data of users of the profesja.inteuro.info website and people interested in participating in the “INTEURO Profession – programme for the professional and social activation of foreigners” project.
The project is implemented as part of the public task entitled “INTEURO Profession – programme for the professional and social activation of foreigners”, financed by the Labour Fund under the Departmental Activation Programme for Foreigners for 2026.

In matters concerning personal data, you may contact the Data Controller by e-mail or in writing at the address provided above.
2. When do we process personal data?
We may process personal data when you use the website, contact us, express an interest in participating in the project, take part in recruitment or receive support under the project.
In particular, we may process the following data: first name and surname, contact details, nationality, age or date of birth, information concerning legal residence in Poland, education, qualifications, professional experience, training, language or social needs, and information concerning participation in project activities.
In the case of minors, we may also process the personal data of a parent or legal guardian where this is necessary for recruitment, participation in the project or confirmation of consent to participate.
3. Purposes of data processing
We process personal data in order to operate the website, maintain contact, recruit participants for the project, verify participation requirements, provide counselling, training, courses, workshops, consultations, work placements and other project activities, as well as to document, monitor, inspect, settle and archive the project.
4. Legal grounds for processing personal data
We process personal data on the basis of the GDPR, in particular:
• Article 6(1)(c) of the GDPR — where processing is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation to which the Data Controller is subject, including the documentation, inspection, settlement and archiving of the project,
• Article 6(1)(e) of the GDPR — where processing is necessary for the performance of a task carried out in the public interest,
• Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR — where processing is necessary for the purposes of the legitimate interests pursued by the Data Controller, particularly organisational communication, security and the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims,
• Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR — where voluntary consent has been given, for example for the use of a person’s image or participation in promotional activities,
• Article 9(2)(a) of the GDPR — where voluntary and explicit consent has been given for the processing of special categories of personal data, such as information concerning health or disability, where such information is necessary to ensure accessibility, safety or the appropriate organisation of support.
5. Recipients of personal data
Personal data may be disclosed to entities authorised under applicable law, the Minister of Family, Labour and Social Policy, institutions responsible for inspecting or settling the project, project partners, persons conducting project activities and service providers whose services are necessary for the implementation of the project and operation of the website.
The project partners are: University of the National Education Commission, Krakow – Institute of Law, Economics and Administration, LEX Generalis Foundation, Hope for the Family Association and MassInternet.
6. Transfer of personal data outside the European Economic Area
As a general rule, we do not intend to transfer personal data to third countries or international organisations.
If such a transfer occurs in connection with the use of IT tools, e-mail, online documents or other internet services, it will be carried out in accordance with the rules set out in the GDPR.
7. Personal data retention period
We retain personal data for the period necessary to implement, settle, inspect and archive the project.
Documentation related to the implementation of the public task will be retained for five years, calculated from the beginning of the year following the year in which the public task was implemented, unless applicable law or inspection obligations require a longer retention period.
Personal data processed on the basis of consent will be retained until the consent is withdrawn or until the purpose for which the data was collected has been achieved, unless further retention is required on another legal basis.
8. Rights of the data subject
You have the right to access your personal data, rectify it, restrict its processing, request its erasure in the cases provided for under the GDPR, object to its processing, withdraw your consent where data is processed on the basis of consent, and lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office.
Some rights may be subject to restrictions where the continued processing of personal data is necessary for the Data Controller to comply with legal obligations, settle or inspect the project, archive documentation or defend legal claims.
9. Voluntary provision of personal data
The provision of personal data is voluntary but may be necessary to contact us, participate in recruitment, confirm eligibility and receive support under the project.
Failure to provide the required personal data may prevent participation in recruitment, admission to the project or access to selected forms of support.
The provision of personal data processed on the basis of consent, including consent to the use of a person’s image, is voluntary and does not affect the possibility of participating in the project.
10. Cookies and technical data
The website may use cookies and technical data such as an IP address, browser type, operating system, date and time of connection or pages visited. These data are used to ensure the correct operation of the website, improve security and support website administration.
Users may change their cookie settings in their internet browsers. Restricting the use of cookies may affect the operation of certain website functions.
11. External links, profiling and use of a person’s image
The website may contain links to external documents, forms or services. The rules governing the processing of personal data within these services are determined by their respective providers.
Personal data will not be used for automated decision-making, including profiling within the meaning of the GDPR.
Participation in the project does not constitute automatic consent to the publication of a person’s image. Photographs, recordings or statements may be used only on the basis of separate and voluntary consent, where such consent is required.
12. Amendments to the Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated in the event of changes to applicable law, programme documents, project implementation rules, the tools used or the manner in which the website operates.
