Activity 1: Preparation for Employment and Professional Development
This is part of the “INTEURO Profession” project for people who are looking for work, want to change careers, gain new skills or prepare more effectively to enter the Polish labour market.
The first activity of the “INTEURO Profession – a programme for the professional and social activation of foreigners” project focuses on preparing participants for employment in Poland and developing their professional competencies.
This part of the project is intended for people who are looking for work, want to change careers, gain new skills, prepare more effectively for a job interview or understand which occupations and competencies are currently needed on the Polish labour market.
The activity provides comprehensive professional support: from competency assessment and the selection of an appropriate training pathway to participation in training courses, practical workshops, work placements and activities designed to improve readiness for employment in Poland.
Activity 1 at a glance:

👉 target group: foreign women and men in need of professional support,
👉 forms of support: assessment, counselling, training, workshops, work placements, anti-stress support and intercultural support,

How does the support begin?
Participation in this part of the project begins with a diagnostic and profiling interview. A counsellor helps identify the participant’s professional experience, education, strengths, aptitudes, training needs and possible development pathways.

Each participant may receive an individual support pathway, meaning a plan tailored to their situation, education, experience, knowledge of Polish, professional plans and employment opportunities.
Professional assessment and profiling may include:
👉 an analysis of professional experience and education,
👉 identification of competencies, aptitudes and strengths,
